Jade plant, scientifically known as (Crasula ovata) is an popular indoor succulent. it is also known as Lucky tree, Money plant and Friendship tree. Many people enjoy growing Jades because it is a symbol of luck. With its thick- woody stem and oval shaped leaves, it looks like a miniature of tree.

How to take care of your Jade?

The most important factors affecting the growth of your Jade are water, light and temperature.
  1. Watering: Do not ever let your Jade plant dry out. Watering the plant is one of the most important factors but overwatering may cause rot root. Watering on schedule is not required, watering can be done when you see the top soil of the plant dry.
  2. Sunlight Requirement: Jade requires full sunlight to grow properly. Incase of lack of sunlight, they may remain short and leggy.
  3. Temperature control: Jade care instructions say that they grow best when they get temperature of about (18-24) degree Celsius during day time and (10-13) degree Celsius during night.

Fertilizing:
For proper care, fertilize your Jade plant in every six months. It should not be fertilized in dry soil as it will damage the roots. Watering should be done properly.
